Most people know the big production company, Walt Disney. Disney made a lot of films, such as Snow White, Big Hero 6, Frozen...and so on. However, those are just the most popular movies Walt Disney produced, there are still movies that are great but not many people knew about.

The famous movie production company, Walt Disney.
I remember that a few years ago, one of my teachers showed my classmates and I a wonderful Disney movie. Maybe it was not well-known, but it was so great that I still remember scenes from it until this day. The movie was “The Treasure Planet”.

Treasure Planet was produced in the year 2002 by Walt Disney production.
This movie is about the main character, fifteen-year-old Jim Hawkins, searching for treasure by a map. At the beginning of the story, an alien appears in front of Jim’s house and gave him a map of the Treasure Planet, so Jim started his adventure to this mysterious planet. He decided to travel by the flying spaceship of Captain Amelia, whose ship was also going toward the Treasure Planet. On the way to their destination, Jim met two new characters, John and his pet, Morph, on the flying spaceship. Jim soon became friends with John and Morph as the spaceship flew toward the Treasure Planet. However, after all the good times they spent together, Jim found out that John was the evil cosmic pirate who wanted to steal all the treasure for himself and then destroy the Treasure Planet.

The Treasure Planet was a secret planet in the universe with an unknown amount of treasure.
Fortunately, at the end of the story, John chose to give up all the treasure that he had stolen to save Jim, who was almost falling into a deep hole. John had apologized and changed his heart, so he and Jim became friends again. The Treasure Planet was safe at last, and all the passengers on the flying spaceship survived.

At the end of the story, Jim and John saved the planet and left safely.
All in all, my favorite scene was when Jim first met John, and both had fun spending time with each other. I loved seeing them explore the spaceship happily together, even sacrificing for each other. All those things are what I like to see from people and what I would want to do with my friends. After watching the movie, I viewed their relationship as a real friendship.

Jim and John were friends on the spaceship.
Morph, the pet of John, was my favorite character. He is pink and adorable in normal conditions, but he can also shape himself into any figure when he is facing danger. The best thing to describe his appearance may be a “slime”. Another skill Morph has is flying. He floats in the air at all times. I wish Morph could be my pet. He is SO CUTE, and it would be wonderful if I can have one!

I like the plot of this movie and the theory taught. Money is important, but friendships are even more significant. Relationships between people connect all of us together, and that is what make us human beings instead of wild beast. Furthermore, we should cherish this affection, starting to love and be loved. At the end of the movie, John had learned his lesson, picked the right choice, and chose the right thing to do when he saved his friend's life instead of taking all the treasures and losing a precious relationship with John. Friendship are more important than money, and I hope people can all understand this theory after watching "Treasure Planet".
